The illustrations were made for the salt pan Sossusvlei in Namibia, the southern part of the Namib Desert. The illustrations show the experiences available in this location such as exploring the sand dunes in a hot air balloon or encountering a Gemsbok. They were printed on souvenir merchandise as a way for the traveler to remember or display their visit. The special edition plane wrap is an advertisement for the destination. The font and color palette were inspired by the vintage style of the “Golden Age of Travel”.

This production of HMS PINAFORE, directed by Alistair Donkin of the D’Oyly Carte Opera Company, was performed at Queens University of Charlotte in the Fall of 2021. As a junior designer and production team member, I was involved in the conception, ideation, design, production, and installation of significant performance and set visuals. My designs highlight the opera’s themes of social class, party politics, and satire.

Inspired by the font weight of Old English and the fine lines of Chicano script, this hand drawn typeface is named ‘Bajacano’. The name ‘Bajacano’ reflects its origin of inspiration; the graffiti filled walls of Baja California and Chicano culture. This decorative font was used as a logo for the mexican restaurant Pepe’s Tacos located in Los Angeles, California.

I captured the surrealism of the genre for the 1966 Czechoslovakian surrealist comedy-drama film ‘Daisies’. This movie poster was created with the purpose of intriguing the viewer to watch the film. The two main characters are transformed into non-human entities in a warped world, signaling an irrational or absurd reality.

I created social media content for the nonprofit organization Circle de Luz. Their mission is to empower young latinas through mentoring, holistic programming, and scholarships for higher education. The intention was to promote events, expand the organization’s outreach, and add personality that corresponds with the brand’s voice. To create a stronger, recognizable social media presence, I assigned ‘Liberty’, ‘Pastel Yellow’, and ‘Light Silver’ as the brand colors in order to embody the brand’s mission to encourage communication, be accessible, be sincere.

This product and packaging design was created for the Italian perfume company SIMONA. The floral motifs and illustration style depict the collection’s “trail of fresh flowers”. The complementary color scheme of orange and purple was chosen to embody the vibrant and innovative sentiment of the fragrance and creates a modern, yet chic aesthetic.

The Ada Limón Live Poetry Reading took place at Queens University of Charlotte in September of 2021. Poet Ada Limón is a current Guggenheim fellow, author of five poetry collections, and was named the 24th Poet Laureate of the United States by the Librarian of Congress. Her work has appeared in numerous publications including The New Yorker, Harvard Review, Pleiades and Barrow Street. As a junior designer, I assisted in creating visual imagery that were interpretations of the poetry using hand manipulated typography and images.

Fingerprint for Success is a professional & personal development platform for individuals & teams. This social media post was to explain how reflection and patience is a motivation that can be an asset, as well as how to overcome it being a hindrance to you. The goal was to educate the viewer in a concise and clear way, while maintaining the brand’s identity through color choices, typography, and illustration.
